Recently, our Second-Year Medical Students at Mari State University participated in the exciting game “Traditional Culture of the Russian People” as part of Russian Language Week.

Organized by Prof. Ekaterina Nikolaevna Bobykina and Prof. Ekaterina Andreevna Plotnikova, the event kicked off with a warm welcome address by Prof. Sergey Alexandrovich Zhuravlev, Dean- Faculty of History and Philology Sergey, who highlighted the event’s significance and praised the creativity of the organizers.

Attended by the students of Grades 8-11 of Secondary School No. 17 of Yoshkar Ola, the students and schoolchildren worked together in teams to answer questions about Russian culture, including folk beliefs, traditions, the Russian mentality, language, crafts, and more!

At the end of the quiz, all participants received certificates and souvenirs to remember the day!
